Richard is an award-winning audio producer / journalist, sound designer, podcast editor and mix engineer. He has produced and written multiple series and one-offs for the BBC, Audible, Wondery, iHeart and others - a selection of credits is here. He's currently based in the UK.

His series Fungi: The New Frontier won gold at the NY Festivals Awards, was shortlisted at the Audio Production Awards in 2023, and Bacteria: The Tiny Giants has been shortlisted for the 2024 AIBs. His work has also been recognised at the F&M Awards, the Guild of Food Writers, the Sandford St. Martin Awards, Sonys and elsewhere.

He has made programmes about and reported on a wide range of subjects from dark skies to interspecies communication, and from yellowface and Covid-related racism to zombie ants - with a journalistic background in science, food and agriculture.
